David Stringer-Lamarre, within his role as Chairman of the Institute of Directors (IoD), City of London, was pleased to deliver an opening speech at this interesting exhibition.

David spoke about IoD City’s deep interest in international trade and engagement. He mentioned IoD City’s very active China Special Interest group that strongly supports the maintenance and growth of the UK-China relationship. David commented about artistic and cultural engagement helping  improve people’s understanding of other cultures, which in turn may result in trust and a willingness to engage in meaningful interaction.

David thanked the many artists and calligraphers for travelling from China to create the exhibition.
