David Stringer-Lamarre, a member of the the 48 Group Club, was pleased to attend this dinner organised by the ‘Young Icebreakers’ of the 48 Group Club.

A welcome speech was made by Richard Zhang, Head of China Business, CBRE.

This was followed by a speech by Sun Yu, Chairman of the China Chamber of Commerce in the UK.

HE Liu Xiaoming, Ambassador of China spoke about One Belt One Road. He stated “…Britain as a key partner of the Belt and Road has unmatched strengths and unique resources, including an advanced financial industry, legal services and consulting, prestigious think tanks and universities, leading R&D and innovation platforms, language advantages, and close ties with countries along the Belt and Road routes.”
