David Stringer-Lamarre, within his role as Chairman of the Institute of Directors, City of London, was pleased to have been invited to deliver a seminar about the role of the state in British Industry.

Among other topics David spoke how the state and business, although not always agreeing on every topic, need to work together. He described and explained the role and activities of the Institute of Directors (IoD), with particular reference to the City of London branch. The delegates asked many interesting questions.
