David Stringer-Lamarre, MD of FortisCL said “During the very engaging Reflections of The Lord Mayor event (first since Covid), held within the Guildhall in the City of London, it was a great pleasure to speak with the three ‘most recent’ Lord Mayors of London: Sir Charles Bowman 2017/18, Sir Peter Estlin 2018/19 and Sir William Russell 2019/21.

“It was also excellent to catch up with the Chair of The British Malaysian Society, Mei Sim Lai OBE DL and Hans Bathija, Master of The Honourable Company of Freemen of the City of London of North America.

“The event provided an interesting look ‘behind the scenes’ and each Lord Mayor provided their reflections not only on their year(s), but also about how they interacted as a team across the period.

“Well done to Christopher Seow FRSA, Sir David Wootton and all involved in organising the event.”
