The Worshipful Company of Glaziers and Painters of Glass trip to Athens day 2 – St Paul’s Church with stained glass windows by Past Master Glazier Alf Fisher MBE.

As the current Master Glazier, David Stringer-Lamarre, MD of FortisCL said “It was a wonderful ‘chain of history’ moment to visit St Paul’s Church where the first stained glass window (1959) of Past Master Alf Fisher resides. Alf went on to create his stellar reputation as an artist including windows for Glaziers Hall, Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace and in reviving the lost art of stained glass throughout India.”
