The 78th Service of the United Guilds of the City of London


Worshipful Company of Glaziers and Painters of Glass – St Paul’s Cathedral, London – The 78th Service of the United Guilds of the City of London. Alongside the Master Glazier and Renter Warden, David Stringer-Lamarre, FortisCL MD and Upper Warden, was pleased to attend this magnificent event within the Cathedral which brought together the ‘several’ Livery Companies and Guilds of the City of London.

The Bidding was given by The Very Reverend Dr David Ison, Dean. The First Lesson was read by the Reverend Andrew Richardson, Assistant Chaplain. The Second Lesson was read by Alderman Vincent Keaveny, The Right Honourable The Lord Mayor of London. The Sermon was given by The Right Reverend Humphrey Southern, Principal, Ripon College, Cuddesdon, Oxford. The Prayers were led by The Reverend Robert Coupland, Sacrist and the Reverend Paula Hollingsworth, Chaplain. The Blessing was given by the Bishop of London, The Right Reverend and Right Honourable Dame Sarah Mullally DBE.
