David Stringer-Lamarre, MD of FortisCL and the Upper Warden of The Worshipful Company of Glaziers and Painter of Glass (founding date is lost in the mists of time, though earliest recorded date is 1328) , was pleased to attend this year’s in-person lecture held within the historic Guildhall in the City of London.
The title of the lecture delivered by David Olusoga OBE was Finance and the City in the Age of Historical Reckoning in which he considered the links between finance in the UK, the City of London and the transatlantic slave trade. The lecture was followed by a questions and answer session.
