David Stringer-Lamarre, MD, FortisCL and Chairman of the Institute of Directors, London Region, was pleased to speak at this event held at Accenture, in the City of London. The event was organised by the Young Indonesian Professional Association (YIPA) in partnership with the City of London Corporation.

A welcome address was delivered by Steven Marcelino, President of YIPA. This was followed by remarks about UK financial services and engagement with Indonesia by Ben Cackett, Trade & Investment Director, City of London Corporation.

Rosan Roeslani, Chairman of Indonesia Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Group CEO of Recapital Advisory, provided a comprehensive analysis of business activities in Indonesia and some opportunities for further engagement between UK and Indonesia

David Stringer-Lamarre spoke about areas of further potential colloboration including within the Creative Arts, Green Finance, FinTech, E-commerce, Insurance and Fashion. He noted the importance of international talent to UK PLC and the desire of UK companies to engage with companies in Indonesia.
