David Stringer-Lamarre, MD of FortisCL, within his role as Chairman of the Institute of Directors, London Region, was pleased to attend this University of Law Reception in the Palace of Westminster.

The reception was to celebrate the successful completion of a study programme at the University by a group of top lawyers from China.

A congratulatory address was delivered by Professor Andrea Nollent, Vice-Chancellor, University of Law, who spoke about the rigorous learning programme and the hard work of the lawyers from China.

Xia Jianhui, Counsellor (Education), Embassy of China, spoke of the importance of knowledge, interactions between China & the UK and the importance of understanding culture to successful engagement.

Song Rui, Deputy Director, International Section, All China Lawyers Association, spoke of the various elements of the learning programme, the high standard of the lecturers and the good engagement with the visiting group.
