David Stringer-Lamarre, MD for FortisCL and Senior Assistant of the Worshipful Company of Glaziers and Painters of Glass was moderator for this event.

This was the 5th The Worshipful Company of Glaziers and Painters of Glass webinar, which brought together experts from the UK and the USA. Dr Jasmine Allen (The Stained Glass Museum, Ely, UK), Dr Rolf Achilles (independent historian & Richard H Driehaus Museum, Chicago, US) and Jennifer Thalheimer (Charles Hosmer Morse Museum, Florida, US).

Both Augustus Pugin and Louis Comfort Tiffany each chose to showcase stained glass in international trade exhibitions as part of an integrated and cohesive display in a medieval court and chapel setting, respectively and the panel will discuss the implications of this. The panel considered which of these giants of nineteenth and early twentieth century stained glass had a greater influence on the arts.
