UK-Turkey – Green Trade Opportunities. IoD London International Trade Group event at the National Liberal Club; chaired by Andrew Lambert. David Stringer-Lamarre, MD of FortisCL, was pleased to be the moderator for the panel presentations and the lively question and answer session.

The event commenced with an address by His Excellency the Ambassador of Turkey Mr Umit Yalcin.

The panel presentations followed with Stephen Kirk of the Planet Mark discussing the importance of venture capital in the many bilateral projects between the UK & Turkey.

Dr Elif Selin Calik Selin Calik spoke about green bonds and the depth and reach of the UK Turkey relationship which is strong.

Andrew Lambert kindly read out some remarks by Prof. Issa Chaer who was unfortunately not able to attend.

The closing remarks were delivered by Vanessa Dal Busco.

For the networking, the gathering moved to the sunlit terrace which overlooks the river Thames.
