The Worshipful Company of Glaziers and Painters of Glass, Stevens Competition Judging. David Stringer-Lamarre, MD of Fortis Consulting London, within his role as Master Glazier, was pleased to visit Glaziers Hall and speak with the judges and members of the support team.

Fortis Consulting London is pleased to be actively involved in the promotion of several top stained glass artists.

The Head Judge is Helen Whittaker FMGP. The panel of judges for 2023 are: Mark Aspinall Past Master Mercer, Kate Maestri, Martin Donlin, Eleni Makri, Kathy Jordan (USA based) and Sarah Diane Hall (Canada based).

The Glaziers’ Company has been running the prestigious Stevens Architectural Glass Competition since 1972. Over its 50 year history the Stevens Competition has been aimed at encouraging and developing new talent in the craft.

The 2023 Stevens Competition is a co-operation between the Glaziers’ and The Worshipful Company of Mercers to source two architectural glass panels to be installed in the reception area of a major office development that the Mercers’ Company is currently constructing in the City of London.
