‘Straw in the Wind ‘ Pavilion

David Stringer-Lamarre, MD, Fortis Consulting London, was pleased to represent The Worshipful Company of Glaziers and Painters of Glass at the ‘Straw in the Wind ‘ Pavilion project presentation. The Glaziers is a member of the Constructions Liveries Group.

The event was supported by Cheapside Business Alliance and hosted by Temple Bar London and The Worshipful Company of Chartered Architects. The Pavilion is projected to be in place, subject to planning, funding etc for summer 2025.

Alderman Alison Gowman ‘’This project is more prescient than ever. I fully endorse the team and its objectives to create a memorable and innovative temporary pavilion in the shadow of St Paul’s Cathedral – a building that has stood the test of time for over 300 years. At this stage I welcome your support towards realising this project as a physical inspiration for the role the Livery can play alongside our construction industries and green finance investors here in the City of London.’’
