Sir Paul Nurse – City of London Chamber Business Event within the Guildhall. David Stringer-Lamarre, MD, Fortis Consulting London, was very pleased to attend this event, ably hosted by Alderman Prem Goyal OBE. Sir Paul is a former President of The Royal Society and Chief Executive of The Francis Crick Institute.

The introduction to Sir Paul was delivered by Keith Bottomley CC, Deputy Policy Chairman, City of London Corporation.

Sir Paul covered a range of topics focused around the interconnection of life sciences and the wider economy. Comments related to, discovery, innovation, and the relationship of academic and research institutions to government and business. Sir Paul kindly agreed to take a number of questions.
