David Stringer-Lamarre, MD of FortisCL and ExCo Member and Chair of the International Trade Group of the British Malaysian Society, was very pleased to attend this fascinating event.

The group was honoured to hear from both Sheriffs of London, Sheriff Alderman Professor Michael Mainelli and Sheriff Christopher Hayward. In addition to this there was an address delivered by His Honour Judge Leonard.

Many subjects were covered including the role of the City of London Corporation, the Sheriffs, the work of the judges and the history of the site and the current building.

There are strong legal sector links between the United Kingdom and Malaysia.
