David Stringer-Lamarre, MD of FortisCL, within his role as Chairman of the Institute of Directors, London Region, was very pleased to attend and speak at this event held at the Institute of Directors Headquarters in Pall Mall, London. It was organised by the UK Federations of Fujian Associations.

Minister Counsellor Wang of the Embassy of China delivered the opening address emphasising the importance of UK and Chinese businesses working together.

David Stringer-Lamarre, welcomed the many delegates to the Institute of Directors and spoke about the Institute’s deep support for international trade and engagement between the UK and China.

Lynn Lin, HY Accountancy, speaking on behalf of the UK Federations of Fujian Associations, spoke about the strong commercial links between Fujian Province and the UK.

Presentations were made regarding accountancy regulations and legal structures, including the importance of intellectual property protection.
