Dinner to mark the contribution of the civic institutions of the City of London to the coronation of their majesties the King and Queen

‘Dinner to mark the contribution of the civic institutions of the City of London to the coronation of their majesties the King and Queen.’ David Stringer-Lamarre, MD, Fortis Consulting London was pleased to represent The Worshipful Company of Glaziers and Painters of Glass within his role as Master.

During this important event The Rt Hon The Lord Mayor Nicholas Lyons noted the enduring connection between the City and the Monarchy. “The relationship between City and Crown is a long one. But to echo Her Late Majesty, it is not the longevity of the link that matters, but rather its closeness, strength and impact.” (Full speech: https://lnkd.in/efHSNEWt )

His Majesty the King during his speech thanked the City for its Coronation gifts. Further His Majesty the King shared some observations about the country. “I have often described the United Kingdom as a ‘community of communities’; an island nation in which our shared values are the force which holds us together, reminding us that there is far, far more that unites us than divides us.” (Full speech: https://lnkd.in/eJeBCEqh )
