David Stringer-Lamarre, MD of FortisCL, was very pleased to be the event moderator for this Mulan Foundation Network discussion.

There was a welcome address by Mei Sim Lai OBE DL, Chairman of the Mulan Foundation Network. David then spoke about the importance of diversity and inclusion within a political, social and business context.

Following presentations by Lijia Zhang and Sharon Heng about their life journeys, Lijia, Sharon and David engaged in a discussion about feminism with respect to China, Singapore, the wider Asian region and the UK.

There was then a very interactive ‘questions & comments’ session with the audience.

The vote of thanks was delivered by Luise Shaffer, Mulan Network Foundation Trustee.
