‘China’s New Journey. World’s New Opportunities; 5th China-UK Economic and Trade Forum’. David Stringer-Lamarre, MD, Fortis Consulting London said “It was very interesting and informative to attend this conference in London and discuss the recent Congress, the importance of trade and the benefit of active partnership between countries, including the UK and China.”

The opening speech was made by Fang Wenjian, Chairman, China Chamber of Commerce in the UK. The keynote address was delivered by HE Zheng Zeguang, the Ambassador of China (Speech in full).

This was followed by a speech by Sherard Cowper-Coles, Chairman, China-Britain Business Council. The Chairman of The 48 Group Club – ‘The Icebreakers’, Stephen Perry, then delivered his remarks and observations.

The event was organised by the China Chamber of Commerce in the UK.
