David Stringer-Lamarre, MD of Fortis Consulting London, within his role as Chairman of IoD London Region was pleased to speak at this event and be the moderator.
This was an IoD City in partnership with ASEAN UK Business Forum (AUBF) event to a commemorate 50 years of ASEAN.
The Association of South East Nations (ASEAN) community is a political, socio-cultural and economic organisation of 10 South east Asian countries. With a combined population of some 640 million people and a GDP of well over USD 2.3 trillionif the Association were a single entity it would rank as the 6th largest economy in the world so a most important trading region.
Welcome addresses were provided by Alderman Alastair King, Chairman of IoD City of London and Datuk SK Lingam, President of AUBF.
The key note speech was delivered by His Excellency Sayakane Sisouvong, Ambassador of Laos.
