David Stringer-Lamarre, MD of FortisCL, within his role as Chairman of the Institute of Directors, City of London, was pleased to attend this StartUp Grind event in the City of London.

The ‘fire side chat’ was expertly conducted by Marian Gadzik, Director, StartUp Grind Europe.

The two participants were Simon Cook, CEO of Draper Esprit and Alex Wood, Forbes Europe Editor.

Many interesting topics relating to technology & start ups/growth companies were discussed including: how to raise funding, pitching presentation content, Brexit, Artificial Intelligence, the importance of talent within a start up/growth company, international engagement, short term and longer term investment horizons and looking for disruptive ideas.
