“During the presentation, as well as discussing international trade for SMEs in macro terms, I was pleased to consider several case studies from the work of Fortis Consulting London. “I was also pleased to mention some of the organisations I am pleased to engage with in the context of international trade. Including Department for Business and Trade, GREAT Britain & Northern Ireland Campaign, Institute of Directors (IoD), IoD International Trade Group, IoD Africa Group, IoD China Group, IoD India Group, IoD London, The Worshipful Company of Glaziers and Painters of Glass, The British Malaysian Society, British Malaysian Chamber of Commerce (BMCC), British Chamber of Commerce Thailand (BCCT), Hungarian British Business Alliance, The 48 Group Club – ‘The Icebreakers’, London Chamber of Commerce and Industry.”

‘Mensa was founded in England in 1946 by Roland Berrill, a barrister, and Dr Lance Ware, a scientist and lawyer, with the aim of creating a society for bright people. The only qualification for membership was, as it is today, a score within the top 2% of the general population in an approved intelligence test.’

‘British Mensa provides its members with a space for like-minds to socialise, stretch themselves intellectually and engage in interesting activities. We have around 18,000 members in the UK and Ireland, who are all part of the wider Mensa family comprising approximately 140,000 people across more than 100 countries.’
