David Stringer-Lamarre, MD of FortisCL, within his role as Chairman of the Institute of Directors, London Region, was very pleased to attend this year’s Innovate Finance Global Summit held at the Guildhall and Grocer’s Hall in the City of London.

The schedule was packed with panels and discussions covering a wide range of topics. These included, ‘ICOs & Crypto, Can we move beyond the Wild West?’, ‘Blockchain; Pipeline or Pipe Dream?’, Will InsurTech follow the path of FinTech?’ and ‘Closing the gender gap in FinTech’. There were lots of opportunities to speak with attendees.

In the evening there was a dinner at the Mansion House bringing together speakers and attendees. The City of London was represented by Alderman William Russell.
