Kate Williams delivered a splendid lecture upon the life and times of Lady Emma Hamilton, including her relationship with Admiral Lord Nelson.

Kate Williams is a British author, historian and television presenter. She is also Professor of History at the University of Reading.

Kate has written a book entitled ‘England’s Mistress: The Infamous Life of Emma Hamilton.’

The lecture was followed by a very convivial luncheon in the famous River Room.
