David Stringer-Lamarre, within his role as Chairman of the Institute of Directors, City of London was pleased to have been invited to attend this reception within the House of Commons.

The purpose was to meet and welcome senior members of the Shenzhen business community on the inaugural Chinese Executive Education Tour ‘Learning from the Past & Exploring the Future’.

The welcome address was made by The Rt Hon The Lord Powell of Bayswater.

Geoffrey Clifton Brown, Deputy Chair of the All Party Parliamentary China Group spoke about the deep and important links between the UK and China.
