David Stringer-Lamarre, MD of FortisCL and Chair of the International Trade Team of the British Malaysian Society, was pleased to be the Event Moderator for this digital event. It was attended by a large audience from several countries including the UK and Malaysia.

There was a welcome address by the Chair of the The British Malaysian Society, Mei Sim Lai OBE DL (image below).

A presentation about cooking was provided by Ching-He Huang MBE and Julian White spoke about wine and food combinations.

There were several cultural videos and members of the Society and attendees provided New Year greetings. This included from the President of The British Malaysian Society Sir Mark Moody Stuart.

It provider an excellent opportunity for members and guests to celebrate the Chinese New Year together.
