ASEAN UK Business Forum Reception at the House of Lords, London. David Stringer-Lamarre, MD, FortisCL, was pleased to attend and represent the The British Malaysian Society’s International Trade Group.

This ASEAN-UK Business Forum (AUBF) event was kindly hosted by Lord Leong who delivered the welcome address. The event MC was Merlene Toh Emerson MBE FRSA. Opening remarks were made by Aimee Alado-Blake [Amelia Alado / Aimee Alado] and the Keynote Speech was delivered by HE Teodoro Locsin Jr Ambassador of the Philippines and Chairman of ASEAN London Committee. A UK perspective was provided by Matthew Findlay, Head of ASEAN Desk of the UK Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office. Closing remarks were delivered by Datuk (Sir) SK. Lingam.

A high energy networking session followed the formal proceedings.
