David Stringer-Lamarre, MD of FortisCL and a member of the ’48 Group Club – The Icebreakers’ was pleased to attend this special celebratory anniversary dinner of the Young Icebreakers.

It was an excellent opportunity to discuss ongoing commercial and cultural links between the UK and China.

The evening commenced with a welcome speech by Richard Zhang, CBRE and a Young Icebreaker

The Principal Guest was His Excellency Liu Xiaoming, Ambassador of China who covered an array of areas., including the Belt Road Initiative, Artificial Intelligence, the digital economy and global trade. The Ambassador stated that the Chinese door of opening up will not be closed and that countries should focus on seeking mutual benefit.
