David Stringer-Lamarre, MD of Fortis CL was very pleased to have been invited to attend the Mansion House Banquet of the Worshipful Company of Blacksmiths.

First mentioned in 1299 and receiving its first Royal Charter from Queen Elizabeth 1 in 1571, the Worshipful Company of Blacksmiths is one of the oldest City of London Livery companies and is ranked 40th in the Order of Precedence. The Company is proud of:

• The sustained support for the institutions and activities of the City of London
• Its enduring involvement with the craft
• Its support of a wide variety of charitable causes, notably the education of young blacksmiths
