David Stringer-Lamarre was pleased to participate as a mentor and panel member at this vibrant and interesting event held at the London School of Economics by Aseanite. The focus was upon ‘Enhancing the Ease of Doing Business in Southeast Asia’.

The first part of the event involved groups of people looking at several questions about the present and future business environment in Asean countries. The role of the various mentors was a to facilitate discussion and the consideration of ideas within the groups. This was followed by a presentation by the groups including questions and comments from the audience.

A panel session followed with participants being asked questions by the attendees. The panel included Mei Sim Lai OBE DL (Lai Peters), David Stringer-Lamarre, Thomas Dane (PwC), Sam Deave (Asia House) and Reema Patel (RSA).

A very interesting and rewarding day with the opportunity to meet new people from across the Asean countries.
