David Stringer-Lamarre, MD of FortisCL and Chairman of the Institute of Directors (IoD), London Region was pleased to be the Event Chairman for this IoD Central London Branch, International Trade Group, event. It was held within the Japan House in London.

A welcome address was delivered by Michael Houlihan, Director General, Japan House.

HE Tsuruoka Koji, Ambassador of Japan spoke about the Japan, its culture, history and economic activities.

Yukita Daisaku, Deputy Director-General, JETRO, London provided a detailed analysis of varied business sectors within Japan and opportunities for collaboration with UK based companies.

Terry Pudwell, CEO, Assuria and Yoshiko Ito, COO, Konica Minolta Marketing Services each spoke about their views on Japan-UK Opportunities, before kindly agreeing to participate in a questions and answer session with the audience.
