David Stringer-Lamarre, within his role as Chairman of the Institute of Directors, City of London, was pleased to have been invited to attend this summit, attended by 1500+ people. The Institute of Directors, City of London has a deep interest in FinTech and international trade so this made for a very interesting day.

The summit began with opening addresses by Lawrence Wintermeyer, CEO Innovate Finance, Mark Boleat, Chairman Policy & Resources, City of London Corporation and Omar Ali, Managing Partner EY.

The day involved roundtables, workshops and panel discussions looking at many aspects of FinTech. The summit provided an opportunity to discuss and connect with people and companies from many sectors and countries.
