David Stringer-Lamarre, MD of FortisCL, within his role as Chairman of the Institute of Directors, London Region, was pleased to attend and speak at this event, held at Westminster University Business School.

The seminar, bringing together business people and students, was organised by Dr Luca Cacciolatti, Westminster University in partnership with the Marylebone Entrepreneurial Club. Including a case study the speakers looked at the ‘tech aspects’ of building a startup and then the marketing and sales strategies that may be adapted

David spoke about the ‘startup journey’ and the importance of innovation and startups to the UK economy and was pleased to announce that a cohort of Westminster Business School students had joined the Institute of Directors. He thanked Dr Luca Cacciolatti for his leadership and engagement with the Institute of Directors with respect to this engagement between academia and business.’
