David Stringer-Lamarre, an alumnus of Liverpool University (Bachelor of Law) was pleased to attend this event within the House of Lords.

Lord Storey CBE provided a reminder of the economic and social history of Liverpool and its present advantages as a city.

Vice Chancellor Professor Janet Beer provided a useful update on the activities of Liverpool University including world leading research, teaching & learning and engagement with the Liverpool community.

The evening provided a welcome opportunity to catch up with existing alumni friends and meet some new ones.
