David Stringer-Lamarre, within his role as Chairman of the Institute of Directors, City of London was pleased to make the opening remarks at this joint event between IoD City of London and the Cass Entrepreneurs Network.

He spoke about the importance of inclusion and diversity of thought to the success of organisations noting IoD City commitment to helping make business happen.

Irina Velkova, Chair of the IoD City of London Young Executives Group spoke about the work of the Group and its continuing growth.

Attendees heard about the latest data and trends regarding women and entrepreneurship. The speakers discussed barriers, opportunities and support for women who want to launch their business ideas and grow their business over time.
