The Master Glazier, Alderman Sir David Wootton, thanked the Lord Mayor for welcoming Glaziers and their guests and spoke of the importance of the professional aspects of the Glaziers and the charitable activities.

The Principal Guest was The Rt Hon. Lord Hall of Birkenhead CBE, Director-General of the BBC, previously Chief Executive of the Royal Opera House.
