David Stringer-Lamarre, MD of FortisCL and a Court Member of the Worshipful Company of Glaziers was pleased to attend this satellite fund raising event of the Lord Mayor’s Big Curry Lunch. It was held at Rathbones Brothers PLC, 8 Finsbury Circus London.

A welcome address was delivered by Alderman Robert Hughes-Penney,  Investment director at Rathbones.

• Dr Laura Scaife spoke on the subject of GDPR common issues one year on and what might be next
• Dean Sapsford, Chief Information Officer at ABF The Soldiers’ Charity spoke on the charity’s experience with GDPR compliance issues and implementation
• Dai Davis of the Information Technologists Company spoke on ‘Why you won’t be fined under GDPR’
• Andrew Pitt, Head of Charities at Rathbones provided a practical guide to CC14 on Charity investments for Trustees.

The vote of thanks and closing remarks were made by Mei Sim Lai OBE.
