David Stringer-Lamarre within his role as Chairman of the Institute of Directors, City of London, was pleased to have been invited to attend this dinner in the heart of the City.

The reception an d dinner provided an opportunity to discuss ongoing developments in commerce between the UK and Dubai. It also allowed for conversations about commodity markets and the expansion of Dubai in this area.

Guests were welcomed by Ahmed Bin Sulayem the Executive Chairman of Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) who provided a useful update upon the Centre’s progress.

His Excellency Abdulrahman Ghanem Almutaiwee CVO, Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, spoke of the strong and expanding links between the UK and the UAE.
