David Stringer-Lamarre, within his role as Chairman of the Institute of Directors, City of London, was pleased to have been invited to attend this lunch event with Mrs Carrie Lam, Chief Secretary for Administration, The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

Mrs Lam provided an update on the economic and political situation with respect to Hong Kong including comments about the deep friendship between Hong Kong and the UK.

The event provided a useful opportunity to engage with business people to discuss various matters relating to trade between the UK, Hong Kong and mainland China.
