Carmen’s Mansion House Dinner


David Stringer-Lamarre, within his role as Chairman of the Institute of Directors, City of London, was pleased to have been invited to attend the Worshipful Company of Carmen’s Mansion House Banquet by the Institute of Couriers.

2017 is a special year for the ‘Carmen’ as it is their 500th anniversary as a Livery Company of the City of London.

The occasion provided an opportunity to hear about the work of the Institute of Couriers from their Chairman, Carl Lomas and its members.

The Master Mrs Marsha Rae Ratcliff provided an insight into the Carmen’s history and its many achievement.

Alderman the Lord Mountevans, representing the Lord Mayor stated that transport and connectivity were the lifeblood of commerce.
