British Malaysian Society (BMS) Inaugral Business Delegation visit to Kuala Lumpur. David Stringer-Lamarre. MD of FortisCL and Chairman of the BMS Trade & Investment Group was pleased to attend this reception, kindly hosted by Standard Chartered.

A welcome speech was delivered by Mohammed Ali Allawala, CEO, Standard Chartered. A reply was delivered by BMS Chairman Mei Sim Lai OBE DL.

Her Excellency, Vicki Treadell, High Commissioner to Malaysia provided useful information about the business relations between the UK and Malaysian and empahsised that ‘Brand Britain’ had a strong resonance in Malaysia.
