David Stringer-Lamarre, MD of FortisCL, within his role as Chairman of the Institute of Directors, London Region, was pleased to be invited to attend the inaugural Bengal Awards in the House of Commons.

Hosted by Asian Business Publications Ltd it was the first of its kind in the UK to recognise and honour extraordinary achievement of the Bengali diaspora in the UK as well as the Bengali communities in India and Bangladesh. Recipients of the awards came from diverse fields including politics, public life, education, health and social care, business, media, art and culture and philanthropy.
