Arab Women of the Year Awards 2016

David Stringer-Lamarre, a member of the Awards Advisory Board, was pleased to represent the Institute of Directors, City of London, at this important awards ceremony.

The awards were created to with the aims of celebrating Arab women and raising international awareness of their achievements, to provide constructive role models for women and to highlight the important ties between the UK and the Arab World.

The opening remarks were made by Professor Aldwyn Cooper, Vice Chancellor of Regent’s University London.

Two keynote speeches were delivered by Lord Purvis of Tweed and Lady Victoria Borwick MP.
